.....Small business is the largest employer in California and yet has no bargaining power.  Why is this?  Government employee unions have incredible power yet we have none.  Why should they negotiate contracts in good faith when we guarantee their incomes and retirements?  They have nothing to lose while we have everything to lose.  This must change, there is too much central power not controlled by the voter.

Small business owners such as me devote our time to the needs of our families and businesses.  We are entrepreneurs and risktakers and have little need to join or participate in organized labor movements.  This now must change if we are going to SAVE CALIFORNIA.  The only group I see capable of turning this state around is Small Business.

We must change the negative business climate to a positive job creating environment that attracts business.

Politicians must realize that without a healthy private sector everything else ceases to exist, even functional government.  I have a problem when layoffs are difficult in government yet happen daily in the private sector.  We guarantee retirement and other perks for government workers with our tax dollars even when our retirement is gone. One must realize that government jobs create no income.  Income is generated by the private sector making government jobs and programs possible.  Government has lost sight of this concept.

What I have seen is a government out of control, spending much more than it takes in, not facing the reality of a weakening private sector.

With this in mind, I dedicate SMALL BIZ TALK RADIO TO THIS CAUSE.  We must pull together creating a formidable organization capable of grabbing the attention of lawmakers.  We must believe this movement is bigger than we are individually.  We must educate others along with employees to reach our goals.  Education is critical, news media and educational facilities are not going to support truth, only their own power base and agenda.  We must create our own.
